Toto vs. Toto
I was listening to the radio today, when the DJ told a story about the band Toto. If you’re a regular reader here at Porcelain, you’re probably thinking “Hey, isn’t Toto the name of that awesome Japanese toilet company?” Of course, you are correct. Sounds like the band members were not quite so well versed in international toilets though, and were rather surprised at what their name was being used for in Japan. The story even gets a mention on a history of Toto page.
I guess it would be like calling your band American Standard around these parts. Actually, that’s a pretty cool band name.

Toto is a rockin’ good band. Good old fashioned mullet rock. Never had the pleasure of using a Toto toilet, though.
I agree on all counts. And actually, I’m rather ashamed to admit that I don’t think I’ve ever had the pleasure of using a Toto toilet either.
