Women head to the urinals

We’re aware of the P-Mate here at the ICBE (how could we not be?), but we had forgotten to bring it up here on Porcelain – thanks to mhh5th for reminding us of this fact, and pointing out that GizMag is giving it a whirl right now. Bottom line, the P-Mate is a disposable paper device to allow women to pee standing up. Seems like a general waste of time until you consider the numerous occasions out in the wild, especially occasions involving porta-potties, where the farther away you are from the toilet seat – the better. In fact, that’s just what the makers are aiming for. By the way, don’t you just love their drawing of the girl peeing?!

Update! We wrote about this back in June, but the original story seems to have disappeared – we just found a new one to link to. This one also mentions another ICBE favourite, the Kros Mobile Urinal.

I say really gross, because if you take a look at the thing it’s, well, really gross. But maybe I’m only saying that because I’m writing this while I eat lunch, which is quite frankly the wrong time to be updating this blog. [...]
