2005 World Toilet Summit – Belfast
Somehow I think we’ve missed talking about this one, but the 2005 World Toilet Summit (not to be confused with the World Toilet Expo which recently visited Shanghai), is headed to Belfast, Ireland this coming September. This is the first summit to be held in the “West“, and I’m sure it will be a great one – if sitting around all day talking about toilets and toilet-related things if your cup of tea. It’s definitely ours.

[...] It isn’t starting until September, so it’s nice to see the press coverage beginning for the 2005 World Toilet Summit. We’ve mentioned it before, and it’s sure to come up again as the time approaches. The theme for the event this year is “Setting Standards and Satisfying Needs Globally.” All sorts of fancy people are going to be speaking, but oddly enough yours truly is not amongst them! You’d think I’d have gotten an invite, but maybe it just got lost in all the loads of spam I get. [...]
Please come to the Summit! The more folk we have there, the more impact we can make and the better chance we have to drive up standards of “away from home” toilets.
Get the word out … come to Belfast … toilets are a vital part of all our lives!
