No more peeing in the streets of Aberdeen?

So it turns out that in some areas of Scotland (and probably elsewhere, to be fair), there’s enough people peeing in the streets after a night of partying that it’s a problem. Not hard to believe, for anyone who has ever caught a whiff of that stale urine smell, and for those whose bladders have nearly burst after a night of heavy drinking. So the Aberdeen city council is proposing a couple solutions – one of them a fancy high-tech toilet that rises out of the ground – presumably at nighttime when they are needed – and then lowers down and stows away again in the morning.
